Sketchbook work

well lately I’ve been really busy with several contracts at once (painting contracts, not illustration :( …) And on top of that well I started a full time job (not related to my field of study of course) to pick up some money for school and such. I decided despite my positive replys, I got from the University’s I sent my application to, I need more time to pick up money unfortunately. University in Ontario are way more expensive then the ones in Quebec. As a result I need time to save up for university, I will be pushing back a year my studies. I’m very sadden by this but, I need to be realistic about the finances. 

 

All that said here are some sketches I’ve done lately, some random doodling during my lunch breaks and night time.

Reason why there a several sketches of trees, is being there is many trees where I work and well I guess you can say I got inspired by them lol.

IF theme this week Heights!

Well I came up with the idea of using my boyfriend as an inspiration for this weeks theme, you see he is Very Tall 6’7 and I’m too, well not as tall, I’m a bit more then average 5’11 1/2. As a result when we are together people look a lot especially kids lol. And I’m guessing it’s because we are tall :) . So I decided to play with that idea for this week.Here is the sketch I did!.
